Witch Doctor was a horror medical drama comic published by Skybound Entertainment/Image Comics. It starts Dr. Vincent Morrow, a brilliant jerk doctor who investigates supernatural diseases.
"What's a supernatural disease?" you ask? Well, from a certain point of view, horror staples like vampirism, lycanthropy, zombie-ism and demonic possession can all be looked at as "supernatural diseases!" So, picture a cross between House, M.D. and Supernatural.
Witch Doctor consisted of two miniseries (Vol. 1 #1-4 and Witch Doctor: Mal Practice #1-6) and two one-shots (Witch Doctor #0 and Witch Doctor: The Resuscitation). All the issues are collected in two graphic novels, Under The Knife and Mal Practice.
Witch Doctor was the first series I wrote when I "broke into" comics. It still holds a special place in my heart. That said — and to answer the FAQ — there are no plans for a third volume. The series will probably never be continued.
